Lignan Research, L.L.C. Raymond E. Palys President

President of Lignan Research since April 2001, Raymond Palys directs all aspects of the manufacturing, sales, marketing and distribution of the company’s products. He brings extensive strategic planning and management expertise in the health care, manufacturing and service industries to this pivotal role.

Palys was most recently vice-president of consulting for J. Bergman & Associates, a San Diego-based management consulting firm. During his seven years with the company, he advised more than 100 clients in the areas of organizational restructuring, management development and strategic planning.

Prior to J. Bergman & Associates, Palys worked for TriCare, a publicly held occupational healthcare company in Irvine, California. He also co-founded QMA, a medical management company. Earlier in his career, Palys held management positions in industrial engineering, operations and marketing at Ryerson, the nation’s largest processor and distributor of steel based in Chicago.

Given his broad range of experience, Palys has played a critical role in bringing to market Lignan Research’s Brevail® proactive breast-health supplement, as he implemented its launch from manufacturing to sales and marketing.

The company’s mission resonates profoundly for Palys, who lost his wife to breast cancer in 1998 and currently supports his sister in her fight against the disease. His vested interest and strong professional background fuel Lignan Research’s efforts to advance disease prevention through a proactive approach to health.
